Application:

The raw materials used in pulp molding are slurries that only contain about 1% paper fiber. After molding, the moisture content of the pulp is as high as 65% to 75%. It is difficult to use mechanical methods to reduce the moisture content. In the production of paper mold packaging products, approximately 3.5~4kg of moisture must be removed through the drying process for each kilogram of paper mold finished product. Therefore, drying will be an important process in papermaking and pulp molding. The production cost of the drying process accounts for a large proportion of the production of paper-molded packaging products. Improving drying efficiency is a key measure to increase the production efficiency of paper-molded packaging products.

Structure and working principle:

The principle of oven hot air drying is to use hot air to give heat to the material, causing it to evaporate the water and quickly discharge it from the oven to achieve the purpose of drying. ​Specific steps are as follows:

1. Hot air generation: Heat sources (biological pellets, coal, wood, gas, steam or electric heaters and other heat sources are introduced from the outside of the oven to convert fuel or electrical energy into thermal energy to generate hot air). The hot air circulates through convection through the fan to maintain uniform distribution of hot air. ​
2. Wet materials enter: Materials with high humidity enter the oven through the feed port, and devices such as chains and trays are used to realize continuous transportation of materials. ​
3. Hot air effect: Hot air circulates in the oven through the fan, contacts the wet material, and transfers heat to the material to increase its temperature. ​
4. Evaporated moisture: As the temperature of the material increases, the moisture begins to evaporate. Moisture molecules escape from the surface of the material and are taken away by the hot air in the oven.
5. Humid air discharge: The humid air generated in the oven is discharged through the exhaust port to maintain the humidity in the oven.
6. Drying completed: After the material has been heated and dehumidified for a certain period of time, and reaches the required degree of dryness, it is discharged from the oven by the conveyor device.
